Summer 2020 With Italeau Shoes

As Summer 2020 quickly comes to an end, I will definitely say it was a Summer no one will forget. Things were obviously very different here in NY as well as across the world, but myself like many others tried to make the best of it.

I spent my Summer taking local trips to the beach, and hitting up my favorite restaurants for some lovely outdoor dining ( which I will definitely be missing). My go-to shoes for this Summer were both from Italeau, a luxury shoe brand based out of Italy. Italy is the heart of luxury shoemaking so it’s no surprise that’s where these shoes originated.

What Makes Them Unique?

Italeau shoes are handcrafted in Italy with a lot of love. Each shoe design is well thought out and planned before the craftsmen get hard to working making the designs come to life. Every shoe is also made with waterproof leather, so you won’t have to worry about ruining the leather at the beach, or in the rain.

How to Style Them?

I now have two pairs of Italeau shoes in my wardrobe, the “Molly Slides” and “Trino Loafers”. They’re both unique in their own ways, and can be worn in so many different ways. Lets start with the Molly Slide from Italeau a true Summer staple. This slip on sandal is so unique with its cork style sole, and “crocodile” style on top. You could find me wearing this shoe to the beach or to run errands. In this post I’m wearing them with one of my favorite Summer dresses from Love & Lemons. But I also loved wearing them with denim shorts and an oversized tee!

Now lets talk about the Trino Loafers from Italeau. Everyone needs a cute pair of flats in their wardrobe, and these are so worth the investment as they go with everything! I got the most wear out of these flats when I headed back into the office for work. Wearing them with jeans, and dresses. The color matches everything, and they are SOO comfortable. It was so important for me to be comfortable in my outfit while at work, considering I had to wear a mask all day. Looking down at these flats were the perfect distraction, the tassels on them seriously make me so happy.

Giving Back

Italeau also believes that “as citizens of the world we have a duty to care for our fellow human beings.” Which is why they chose to manufacture their amazing products in Italy, because the craftsmen there are fairly paid and protected. Additionally, they also work to provide clean water access to people in need, with every sale they make.
